ADI am excited to be a PreK teacher at MPES. I graduated with my BS and Masters degree from the University of North Alabama in Florence.  It is a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.

I was raised and attended school here in Mt. Pleasant. Because of that I have a great love for our school and community. I have 3 daughters: Carley, Colby, and Creslee. They keep me very busy playing soccer, softball, basketball, tumbling and dance classes.  When I'm not at school I love spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to another successful school year and the opportunity to watch children learn and grow.

I am married to Jeff Southworth and we have two children together; Ben and Lucy Jane.  They keep me and Jeff very busy.  Ben enjoys playing just about all sports including golf, baseball, football, and basketball.  Lucy Jane enjoys playing softball and dancing.  They both enjoy playing outside and spending time with each other.  I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and exercising.
