My name is Kim Smith. I have worked at MPES for 15 years. I worked two years in Head Start and thirteen years for Special Education. I am currently working for CDC. When not at school I enjoy reading and spending time with family.

My name is Shonte’ Bradley. I started working at MPES in 2013 in the Special Education Department/CDC classroom. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, playing basketball, and attending sporting events.

 

 






 
Dana Brewer, Resource

I’m Dana Brewer, and I am excited to start my 4th year here at Mt. Pleasant Elementary and my 15th year in education. I graduated from Athens State University in Alabama with a B.S. in Special Education. I received my Masters and E.D.S in Curriculum and Instruction from Middle Tennessee State University. I look forward to another wonderful year at MPES and the opportunity to grow and learn with the students, teachers, and parents!

I'm from Lawrenceburg, TN and currently live in Summertown. I have 2 daughters and 3 sons! I love running in half and full marathons!

 



 Toni Fann, Resource

I’m Toni Fann, and I am excited to start my 8th year here at Mt. Pleasant Elementary and my 10th year in education. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Dance and completed the teacher certification program at Chapman University in Sacramento, CA. I received my Special Education Certification at Middle Tennessee State University. I look forward to another wonderful year at MPES and the opportunity to grow and learn with the students, teachers, and parents!

I moved to Spring Hill in 2006 from Northern California. I have one son who was born in May. I loved starting the MPES Theatre Club this year and look forward to next year!

 

Susie Lindsey, Resource Assistant

My name is Susie Lindsey.  I have been with Mt. Pleasant Elementary for 13 years as a Special Education Assistant.  I enjoy working with the students, faculty and staff at Mt. Pleasant Elementary.

 

Leslie Hunt, Speech

Leslie Hunt received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Middle Tennessee State University in 2003 and her Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Kentucky University in 2004.  She has been practicing speech therapy since that time in a variety of settings including the public school system, private practice, and a hospital setting working with adults.  Leslie has been providing school services for the past eight years.  She is licensed by the TN Board of Communication Disorders and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).  She is also a member of the Tennessee Association of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists (TAASLP).  She lives in Summertown, TN with her husband.

  

Kandysue Savage, Speech

I am Kandysue Savage.  I am a Speech Pathologist proving speech and language services to students at MPES.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree from MTSU and a Master’s Degree from TSU.  I am a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, the Tennessee Association of Audiologists and Speech Pathologists, the Tennessee Education Association and the Tennessee Association of Assistive Technology.    When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, traveling and gardening.
